Culp Family News

Monday October 10th

Busy weekend but first I have to brag about our smart little girl. Today was our very 1st parent-teacher conference with Mrs. Blade's. She had nothing but great things to say about Mya. She said that she is very quiet & typically does not raise her hand to answer questions but when asked directly she always knows the answer. She is ahead of the curve on her way to reading. And they took their very first math "test" that had 8 questions. 8 out of 50 kids got all 8 correct & Mya was one of them!! We are SO very proud of her!! :)

Saturday we went to the Applebutter Festival in Groveport. Mya was very excited about getting to ride a horse again (I think we are going to have to go horseback riding next Summer).

At the face painting tent they were also painting hair. Mya got a pink & purple animal on her cheek so she ended up getting half pink & half purple hair.

Then on Sunday we decided to go out to The Wilds. It turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day to be there. All of the colors were gorgeous throughout the park and the crowds weren't bad at all. The most surprising part to me was all the babies that we got to see.

My absolute favorite part of the trip was the baby rhino. He was only 1 week old. He was just laying behind his mommy & we could barely see him but then she moved & he not only stood up but actually ran. It was the cutest thing ever!!!
