The holiday weekend was good but really, really busy.

Friday I picked Mya up after kindergarten & we spent an afternoon together. First we had lunch, then we played games & bowled at Rule 3, then we went for ice cream, & finally spent some time at the book store.

Saturday Mya got to spend the day with Daddy while I went to work a craft show with my Dad. That evening we went for our annual trip to the Sweet Corn Festival. Mya ate 2 ears of corn all by herself! She played a couple of games & rode a bunch of rides.

I think she's at an odd age/size for rides this year. All summer we've ran into her not being tall enough for some rides but even if she was taller she thinks she wants to ride the ones she always has in the past. The 'kiddie' rides. But then she gets on them going round in circles & she seems very bored. It will be interesting to see what she wants to do next year.

Sunday evening & Monday both we went up to the Canal Winchester Labor Day festival where my Dad had another booth. Monday was the parade. Sabrina & Jakob came along with us. Mya collected a HUGE bag of candy!

I have to share a couple more cute pictures. I took the Mya & Natalie with me through the car wash the other day. Mya used to be afraid of it so she would climb into the front seat & hold my hand. This time she told me that she was going to hold Natalie's hand so that Natalie would not be scared. :)
