MYA TURNS 18 MONTHS OLD!!!!

Normally this is the spot where I would insert a milestone picture. Due to Mya's continuing aversion to professional pictures we have decided to take a more personal picture this time & had every intention of doing so this weekend, but unfortunately, the weather prevented it so I promise I will share the minute we are successful.

WE ARE FINALLY MOVED IN TO OUR NEW HOME!

Again, I must apologize for the very long delay in my update. As most of you know by now we have moved into a new home & have been extremely busy trying to set up house.
Way overdue side note: Thank you SO much to everyone who helped us move last month. We certainly could not have done it so quickly & smoothly as we did without all of your hard work. Thank you again!!!
Sadly, I honestly haven't even had a ton of time to take pictures like I normally do. I did manage to snag a few cute ones of Mya enjoying her new surroundings so I'm going to post them tonight. She has adjusted better than we could have hoped for. I think she is just as naturally happy here as both Adam & I are. We are all just so excited to be living here. Everyone keep their eyes out this week for an invitation to our new home party. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone.

Of course her favorite thing has to be the most dangerous....the stairs:

We got some new furniture & she has to check it all out thoroughly:

Daddy helped her check out the height of the new kitchen table.

Daddy showing her all the statues she is not allowed to touch...but of course she tries.

We been enjoying the outside, too:

Across the street from our neighborhood is a very nice walking path. Mya was working hard this day to work off that remaining baby fat!

Living in a court is fun!! Mya isn't quite willing to join in with the older kids, but she likes to hang out in the court & keep a very close eye on what they are doing.

MORE TEETH NEWS...

As I've told you all before, Mya doesn't let us look inside her mouth very much at all so it's very hard to tell when exactly she gets new teeth. Recently, during a crying fit mommy caught site of new white & made a quick check. Turns out that she has new molars on 1 upper side & both lowers. She's learning to use them quickly, too by giving up so old, soft favorites & trying out some new foods.
18-month check-up: Is actually scheduled for tomorrow afternoon so I will be giving the official word on her growth progress next week.
