New Teeth!

On Monday Mya started her transition from the infant room into the toddler room. The normal transition is a 3-week process where the children spend a little more time each week in the toddler room. If a particular child does well, they speed up this process. On Wednesday I had a parent-teacher conference with her toddler teacher who told me that Mya is doing so well already that they are planning to progress her faster. Possibly moving her completely into the toddler room as soon as the end of the 2nd week. Two of the biggest skills taught in this room are self-help skills & following directions. Mya already does both very well. We are extremely proud of her!!!
The past few days have been quite a challenge. On Friday Mya ran a temperature of around 102. Although her temperature has not returned she has been miserable most of the rest of the weekend. She has been working on her 2 front teeth for a little while now & we wondered if they were hurting her more than usual. Tonight as I was putting her down to bed I applied some Orajel to her gums & finally discovered the actual problem. Mya has a molar breaking through! I only felt a tip of it so I think we probably have a couple more days of misery to contend with, but hopefully she will be through the worst of it soon.

OUR NEW HOME!!!

As most of you already know, the Culps have found a new place to call home!
Yes, this happened MUCH sooner than we had anticipated. Almost by pure accident we stumbled upon the perfect house & just couldn't let it slip through our fingers. As you can see from the picture it is a new build & not quite finished so we have a small amount of time before we can move in. If all goes according to plan, we will be closing at the end of August. Our new city will be Pickerington. Although, sadly, we will be leaving behind some family, friends, & good neighbors by moving to the east side we will be much closer to all of Mya's grandparents & many of Daddy & Mommy's close friends.
And no, this does not mean that we have been lucky enough to sell our home quickly. We have had a good number of showings & hope that it will be a perfect fit for someone soon. Please keep all of your fingers & toes crossed for us!
We are very excited & plan to have everyone over to celebrate as soon as we get in & get a little organized.
