MYA LOVES THE OUTDOORS

We took advantage of the good weather this past week & started getting outside. Several of the days Mya & Mommy had our afternoon snack on a blanket in the backyard. On Friday, we spent a long time outside watching Uncle Quinn wash his truck. There were also plenty of walks &, of course, rough-housing with Daddy.

UP UP IN THE AIR!!

The fresh air must be doing her a world of good. Yesterday for the very first time she stood up & stood unassisted for a minute before realizing what she had done & sitting down quickly.
She hasn't been very willing to touch the grass until today when she suddenly veered from a walk on the sidewalk to crawling quickly over in the grass. She crawled a good distance before deciding it still isn't her favorite thing & reaching for Daddy to save the day.
Much more exciting news is that she is now EATING!! Not only eating, but eating a little bit of anything & everything. She spent the day at Mark & Paula's yesterday. While she was there she spent the majority of her time eating & sleeping. We were all shocked & was sure it was just Paula's magical touch. However, she has not stopped eating since. We went to a Chinese buffet today & she was willing to eat green beans, french fries, rice, turkey, & ice cream. We decided to be adventerous & see if she would continue the trend for dinner tonight. We fixed macaroni & cheese & she ate at least twice her body weight! We are still holding our breath, but seriously hope that this is the end of her too small diet.
