~ CULP FAMILY NEWS ~

I am sorry to report that on the whole this was a very uneventful week both in the world of Miss Mya & in the Culp home in general leaving very little to report on. The cold weather kept us very close to home throughout the week & even made our trips over the weekend as quick as possible. Unfortunately, the weather looks ever more brutal over the upcoming week & is going to again keep us behind closed doors. Mommy is planning some new activites to keep us occupied because both her & Mya are beginning to show signs of stir-crazy already (God help Daddy!).

Mya is progressing rather quickly towards walking though & again made significant strides this week. She is walking around anything she can like her activity table shown above & even tries to take steps if something she is hanging on to inches forward. It definitely won't be long!

As you can also tell from these shots her hair is getting really long & her bangs were starting to look shaggy again so we trimmed them up again yesterday. The 2nd time already!!

Saturday: Mya spent the evening with Grandpa & Grandma Miller. Although at home she is normally in bed & sound asleep no later than 7:30 she decided to keep Grandpa up playing until after 10. I guess they were really having a good time!
Sunday: We all went to Avree's 1st birthday party. Her birthday was done in a Valentine's theme & was very pretty. Avree looked very cute opening her gifts & making a mess of her first cake. We were glad we got to be a part of it. Unfortunately, there was a lot of people & a lot going on & Mommy didn't get an opportunity to take any pictures. Daddy did manage to snap this one of Mya sitting in Avree's new Sesame Street chair with his phone. She loved sitting there!
