Mya Learns To Pull Up!!!
Quickly Mya has moved from pushing up on her knees to pulling herself right up to a standing position. And now, of course, she pulls up on anything & everything....safe or otherwise. The first toy that she used as a prop was her dinosaur which is VERY unstable with her weight on it so we started setting it up against more sturdy things.
Just barely taller than the dinosaur....
Throwing caution to the wind....
She quickly realized that the toybox was right there. At first it was just something new to hold on to.
It didn't take her long to realize that the toybox had a lid she could open. Legs wobbling she used the strength in her arms to lift the lid.
2 minutes later.....
Now.....
....and she's already figured out that the lid will stay up, she can let go, & pull out all the toys she wants all by herself.
The toybox is definitely her favorite thing to pull up on. All the stuff you see here neatly placed on top was either pushed behind or thrown off to the side violently in another attempt to get inside.
